Of course this project will cost a lot of money. For the purchase of cars, equipment and travel expenses, we have budgeted 30.000 Euros. If more money is raised we can drill more water wells and help more people. To raise this amount of money we came up with a unique idea. The idea came from our previous experience during the Amsterdam Dakar Challenge in 2006. We drove through Africa with a few 4x4s all covered with company logos.
This colorful appearance and our striking skin color attracted a lot of people. The local population however, is very curious about the people behind the company logos.

So we came up with the idea to cover the 4x4’s with passport pictures/photo's of our sponsors so that the people in Africa can see firsthand who is supporting them.

You can support us in a number of ways:

Passport pictures (Pasfoto’s)
By ‘buying’ one or multiple passport pictures they will be aware in a playful way who has contributed to their drinking water. For the project to be accessible to everyone, the price for a passport picture is 6 euro. For companies (read: associations and individuals) we offer the possibility to place your logo (up to 1cm ²) in the lower right corner of the photo (s). For 100 Euros extra, a company logo can be the same size as a passport picture .
There are a total of 8000 passport pictures (4.5 by 3.5 cm) to be placed on the 4x4’s.

The shopping list
In addition to the passport pictures it is possible to support us by donating equipment. On the shopping list you can see the inventory of products that we need for the project. Of course your name or company name will be prominently displayed on the donation list. Labeling the 4X4s with passport pictures has never been done before, it is a unique project with a lot of media potential which we plan to use as much as possible (radio, newspapers, television, advertising, promotions etc). To reach as many sponsors as possible and to promote the foundation we will try to gain as much media exposure as possible. Given our previous experience with the Dakar Challenge, we know that this kind of project is on the hot list for media exposure so we expect substantial coverage.
